Painting by numbers
Councillor Chris Trevelyan and his daughter spent an hour helping paint the new mural by artist Ben Evely on the Oxford Street Comfort station down on Marine Drive in White Rock.
Beach mobility Access
Councillors Manning and Bains, together with Mayor Knight, officially launched the White Rock Beach Wheelchair Program. This initiative became a reality thanks to an extraordinary community effort involving the Accessibility Advisory Committee, Motion, City staff, Council, and the Self Advocates of Semiahmoo (SAS). Special appreciation goes to Naakua Paddleboard Shop for stepping up in a big way, along with everyone else who contributed to bringing this important program to life.

They all Celebrated Canada Day with a great announcement from MP Ernie Klassen that the City of White Rock will be receiving more than $25 million in federal funding from the Build Communities Strong Fund for Phase 2 of the White Rock Pier reconstruction, which will extend the pier’s service life, enhance safety, resilience, and accessibility, and preserve its cultural and historic significance for generations to come.
